THE IMPORTANT STUFF

Privacy, plain & simple.

Updated October 29, 2026. KidStandby is a prelaunch children's activity marketplace starting in the Richmond, Virginia area. This notice describes our current interest and business-submission forms, not future booking functionality.

Information you provide

When parents register interest, we may collect a first name, email address, ZIP code, children's age ranges, activity preferences and their optional selection to receive marketing emails. When providers submit openings, we may collect business names, contact details, websites, descriptions, dates and proposed prices. Contact requests may include names, emails, topics and message text. Do not include children's names, medical information or sensitive personal details.

How we use it

We use your information to understand local demand, prepare the launch, evaluate possible activity partners and respond to requests. We send promotional messages where you opted in or where otherwise permitted by applicable law. You may ask us to stop marketing messages.

Hosting and service providers

Netlify provides site hosting and processes the early-access, provider, and contact forms submitted through this version of the website. We and our technology providers may process technical information needed for site operation, security and delivery of submissions. Information previously submitted to our earlier Wix-hosted site may remain in Wix until we delete or export it. We do not sell personal information.

Disclosure and retention

We do not publish contact information received through private forms. We may share information with service providers needed to operate the website or as legally required. We retain information reasonably needed for the above purposes and in accordance with applicable law.

Questions or deletion requests

Use our contact form and select "Privacy request" if you want to inquire about, correct, or request deletion of information you provided.
